HISTORY
My path to the profession of hair cutting started with an apprenticeship in Montpelier, Bristol, at the vibrant Sheerline hairdresser's. A characterful, creative, and stimulating environment, with a characterful collection of stylists that offered a broad range of styles to suit all.

Purple Penguin Barbers was situated below Purple Penguin Records in Colston Street, Bristol, a major hub of the vibrant Bristol music, and arts scene.

Sam's Hairdressing was a way of expanding the business to allow for more services for clients but retaining the ethic of Purple Penguin
Sam`s cuts allowed me to retain my clientele, while being able to spend time with the family
Clients range from families through to individuals in their work environment, along as their is space and good light I bring my tools. I commute between clients by bike, which enables travel time to be low and minimizes my impact on the environment
